Well, this sucks... I know Irvin, McClain and Fua have shown promise but you're talking about 2 rookies and a guy with virtually no NFL playing experience, we can't go into the season with that.

My impression is that Kemo played pretty well last year, I would vote to bring him back.

There are actually some really solid options available. Some maybe better than Edwards. Jamal Williams, for example, or Clifton Ryan, would be at least as good as Edwards.

Yes, they count. Top 51 salaries on the team count towards the cap.

Actually by the beginning of the season all of the 53 guys on the active roster count toward the cap. That was my question though. If all of the active roster guys count toward the cap what happens if they aren't on the active roster like guys on the practice squad. The top 51 salaries counts toward the cap as far as the 90 guys you have in camp before cuts.

Im kinda excited to see Fua now. When he was drafted a good number of people were worried he would be undersized since he was only listed at 6'1 295 but seeing him in person he looks a whole hell of a lot bigger than that. Hopefully he can be a great clog.

Why not sign marcus stroud it wouldn't hurt to have a big proven body...I wonder if he'd ask for a pay day cause of the huge salary he got in Buffalo...
