Winners and losers from tonight

Lafail with 2 drops in the endzone one was just lazy and the other one was right in his hands. Should have been Cams first NFL touchdown and a huge confidence builder. Thanks to good ole hands made of concrete blocks.

Duke Robinson should have stayed in Spartanburg and had a few more twinkies. Terrible waste of talent and size.

Goody, I love ya but you gotta hold on to the ball!!!

The coaches were all winners tonight in my opinion., and everyone else.

Those two throws to LaFell in the endzone looked like pretty darn good coverage by the DB to me. It's hard to call them drops when somebody else's hands got to the ball.

true Lafell did have a guy draped all over him on those plays. Cam had a back wide open in the flat for an easy TD on I believe it was the first one though.

Olsen would have had both of those for touchdowns because he goes and gets them. Lafail was just lazy on both of them. Watch the plays again and tell me if Im lying. I rewound them like three times each and that was just lazy.

Exactly.

Lafell, I love ya man, but I've no doubt that Gettis would have snagged all those catches in.

He needs to get back to work on Monday.

Some people will argue with you forever and never give any ground.

Fixed.

Thanks JOAT. I am a big fan of Armanti and I should have said stripped. If you saw my post just a couple above said I thought he look good at receiver. I thought he made some good moves and jukes to get open and showed he can be a player.

How could anyone say that Jimmy sucked tonight? He played well -.- . The pick was just the product of micommunication. A lot of that was on DWill. Anyways, here's my list:

Winners:

Fua

Stanford

Jimmy

Senn

Irvin

Special teams

Ron Meeks' secondary in general

Most of the OL

Armanti (mostly as a returner)

Olsen

Losers

Gross - got blown up by JPP tonight

The WR's in general - no one really stood out

Pass rush - I want CJ and Hardy back ASAP

Could not agree more. I expected a sloppy game, but it really wasn't. The Panthers already look very well coached on both sides of the ball.

The D gave up 3 points. 3 points. That is exceptional considering who was out.

Chud kept them guessing all night. In his first preseason game, his playcalling was better than I can ever remember seeing, whether we are talking about Haskell, Henning, Davidson or whoever.

Excellent play on special teams, including good punt returns and the blocked kick.

I am really, really impressed with this staff.

Gross got abused by JPP more than once. Definitely a loser tonight.

And I don't know if anyone mentioned Senn but he made some nice plays both on defense and special teams.

Zero sacks from the DLine is a problem but at least they held their ground for the most part.
