Same argument people were using with Jimmy last year...he was "safe" with the ball.

That worked out great.

Matt Moore is married btw.

Any other insightful posts you have stored up?

Cam has more potential and talent in one finger than Matt Moore does in his entire body. If Moore was worth a CRAP, he wouldn't be with his 3rd team ALREADY. I'm glad you know so much about Matt Moore, but you are a pathetic excuse for a Carolina Panthers "fan" and I wish you would stop posting such hateful crap about the future of this franchise that we are all trying to rally around. You are doing more harm than good, and honestly your idiotic posts make this site hard to read. You are an internet tough guy, and it's painfully sad to watch you spew your unwarranted hatred for Cam every single day. You don't take breaks from your hate. Please get a life...please.

It isn't difficult to find those numbers.....and you don't google it to find it. You won't find anything googling that...

Clausen has had more drive attempts yet Cam has generated more 1st downs with the offense. Yeah, 1st downs don't = TDs but over the course of the season.....you want the QB who will move the ball the easiest on the field w/o turning it over. Clausen = more 3 and outs....and Cam = more 1st downs.....knowing that, give me Cam.

BTW. I did find them, read my post, you will find that once again you are stating falacy as fact...I even looked up the correct numbers for you. The way I got those numbers was by taking the box scores for each game and going through them line by line to see which QB was in when and what happened during that duration. Please feel free to go behind me and do the math again yourself but as of right now:

eh, i am not as enthusiastic about as i use to be....clausen is soon to be a nonissue around here. Some people just can't wrap there heads around that......those are the people who generally blamed everyone including the guy selling peanuts in the stands for clausen's crap play.

imo, the real difference between cam and clausen is, one one was told that he belongs in the nfl as a top rate qb due to his so called pedigree and the other was told he doesn't belong because he's only athletic and have to prove that he IS SMART ENOUGH AND CAPABLE OF DOING MORE THAN TUCK AND RUN.

If folks are having to split hairs and making excuses to help the kid who was told that he was groomed for the nfl get ahead of the kid who has to prove that he doesn't belong and all the kid had was less than 1 month of tc, that does not bode well for the superior kid.

It's clear that stats really don't mean much when it comes to wanting someone to look good because clausen faced the same thing with moore last year; where he was shiny new car and was praised by the media for his preseason game that seemed remarkably similiar outcome to cam's game from last week, minus clausen's interception. Mind u, clausen, the superior one, ran with the 2nd the 3rd team last year and move the team just a bit beetr than cam w/o any tds. And when it was all said and done this is what was written about moore:

moore might have exceeded expectations as he threw for eight touchdowns and only one interception, but i wouldn't say the quarterback job is in his pocket after the way clausen performed last night.
8 tds to clausen's none...yet moore's job wasn't safe.

Nd u folks are sitting here trying ur best to show that clausen is better than a kid who has been presured to prove that he belongs with very little practice and no ota, yet he ran with the 1st team last week and part of the 1st team and 2nd team his first preseason.

      The same folks crying about the OL right now were crying about it in 2023 too. We have tied up over 100 million dollars in two interior olinemen alone. We've invested multiple first and second round picks in the offense. We hired an offensive minded head coach. This is an offensive team. The offense needs to produce or people need to be replaced.

      This is the same place that has ridiculed and blasted Caleb Williams at every opportunity he has his team sitting at 10-4 in the same NFC that the Panthers are competing in. And their division in the NFC North is as or more competitive as our division. Yet from the same people who have very high standards for Williams we get every excuse imaginable for the smallest starting QB in the league even when he and his team continue to disappoint when the pressure is on. You lot aren't any less inconsistent than anyone else.

      The Panthers are 9th in cap spent on offense this year.  However next season is already a different story  The Panthers as it stands right now will be 18th in cap spent on offense and 8th in cap spent on defense  The Panthers are currently set to spend more on defense next year than they are on offense this season Guys like Jaycee and Moehrig cap numbers take a big jump. Wharton has a massive cap hit   Jaycee Moehrig and Wharton in 2025 The same 3 in 2026 So this same defense as it stands right now will cost more in 2026 than this offense does right now… Got anything else you want to try?
