You're the first person on this forum to point that out.

Its the reason when Vincent left Kalil and our whole line started to suck. No one ever gives credit to the G but they are the ones blocking the big big uglys. We dont need a Pro bowler there but we need someone competent.

Also Kalil now has to make all pre snap adjustments. None of our QBs since Delhomme could do that and still cant.

Letting Vincent go was a huge mistake. Good point

Vincent was done. The injuries were showing up again and would have just got worse. We got a lot out of the guy for what we paid but Schwarts was supposed to be his replacement. Otah had to go and fug all that up.

Its Hurneys fault that we dont have at least one new FA on the right side and it shows.

He played RG when he was with the Cowboys

i thought it was left guard because i thought someone else played left, but oh well, i think one reason they havent got him yet is he possibly wants a ton of money.

ANYWAYS, the big reason i posting now is i just read that Kentwan Balmer is now on the panthers, i say good move there, he's young and is a big body that Carolina needs.

    • That makes me wonder, how many starting tackles in the NFL and/or elite tackles have short arms? I feel like there’s probably lots of tackles that end up being drafted in later rounds because they had short arms or didn’t have the physical tools.     also why not draft a tackle in the later rounds that we could move to guard or center if they fail, instead of drafting a center? If we draft a center we know they aren’t going to play tackle but if you draft a tackle they could end up playing any of the 3 positions, look at BC for example. It feels like it’s a better decision to draft a tackle in later rounds than a center.
    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
