6/19 75 yards....

no no no, that pie was bullpoo. I will go on record right now, I disapprove of any zach braff material of any kind. That pie was a sad, sad mistake, based on technical difficulties from my mouse and/or keyboard.

I thank you for your attempt of comedy, but I must request my pie be returned as soon as possible.

Anyway, 6-19 or 75 yards isn't anything special. But the runs were nice, Cam didn't turn the ball over, and he scored a fugging touchdown. Sounds better than last season when we didn't score a single touchdown ALL PRESEASON. I am fine with these stats, at the moment.

Our entire team needs a lot of work. I honestly thought we were going to be much improved. A lot can change from now till the first regular season game. It's really up in the air about how bad or good we do this season, but we have looked awful so far. It will be a while before we can truly evaluate our team and our coaches... but what if we do end up being the worst team in the league again or close it it? I mean where would we go from there? These are dire times.

I can't help but be pessimistic. 5 wins seems like a reach at this point.

    • After watching Dan for 3 yrs now, I think I understand his plan. It’s a simple plan that should work for the long run.     I saw some of this last yr. Dan wants a vet and a young player at each position. I really think we go OT if one they like there. Moton is aging, Icky will not be back until 27, if ever. We need to get ahead of the tackle problem
    • You are just stressing too much about these particular positions. You want to upgrade from Bryce and I understand that but you aren’t going to really get that without getting into a bidding war for a QB2 potential QB1 like Willis. You could possibly trade for Mills or the backup for Chicago but they are still gambles and their teams will won’t decent picks.  Again the Eagles thought KP was a capable enough backup to trade for him once their backup was hurt and won a Super Bowl with him as QB2. The point is most teams aren’t rolling with some stud QB2/3 that is going to push even a bottom tier starter. They are better off the building their roster in other areas. The Rams are rolling with Bennett right now as QB2 for example.  The goal is winning absolutely. We overachieved last year even with stumbling into the playoffs. Another year and this staff needs to take the next step in building a team. Will Grier has little to no impact on that….
    • Three straight first round WRs is straight up Matt Millen poo. Considering the draft capital we have tied up on Bryce after that trade we would basically have spent damn near all of our draft capital in recent years on QB and WR just to put one of the most anemic passing offenses in the league on the field. Clown show poo.
