Anybody drafting him in the top of the first round.

he fell to me at 5 and I had to take him.

You did not have too... I mean if the guy misses the first few weeks thats's you #1 overall first round pick on the bench... probably starting out 0-2, just isn't worth the risk IMO when there are other players out there @ #5.

Five I can almost understand but his ADP is around 3 and for a guy that hasn't played a snap yet and isn't likely to be full speed till week 4 or so if he's even playing by then that's WAY too high...

I was picking 5th and had him sitting there. Wasn't worth the risk to me, picked up Rogers. He's definitely a top 3 fantasy RB but there's just too much going on there and too many other quality options. I'm not thrilled about my RBs (Rice, Forte, Mathews, Bush) but I'd still take a top QB over Johnson.

I got a top QB with Brady in the 2nd, so I feel pretty decent about it.

IMO, RB's don't really need training camp or the pre-season. If he signs he will start out slow, but he will still have decent games 140+ yds and probably 2 scores in the first 2 weeks of the season.

I'll take it.

I drafted him at 4.

It went Arian, Peterson, Rice....

I wanted Rice and hoped the 3 pick took Charles or Johnson.

THe great news is they are meeting today and rumors are they are very close to an agreement.

Hope you all took Ringer as well (I got him in the 9th)

Ringer or Harper... Harper has looked impressive in the preseason and Ringer is still missing practices due to injury.

    • I've been iffy on Canales till now but this season has put me in his corner. He certainly still has areas that need improvement, but I do believe he can be "the guy". Admittedly, what I had hoped for was a chance to see Canales with a different quarterback. That particular scenario now looks to be, at the very least, a few seasons away. Gotta say also that we'd be remiss to have an offseason discussion and not reference Dan Morgan and the front office. What I see from there (especially since the addition of Brandt Tilis) is starting to look pretty positive. Here's hoping...
    • He is certainly durable for his size I'll give him that. Whether or not he'll actually carve out a Doug Flutie kind of career remains to be seen. He has the benefit of playing in an era of the league that many former QB's would envy let's be honest. I think it really comes down to his desire to continue to overcome adversity and work on his craft. Whatever happens to conclude this season he will certainly be here next year and my hope is that he enters the upcoming offseason highly motivated to build on any progress he's made. The last thing we need is a repeat of the last 3 offseasons.
    • Yeah, don't ser how I missed that. Sorry, @Mr. Scot
