I have a rule in fantasy...or at least my money league. No Panthers. They always cloud your judgement.

I understand where you are are coming from with this, but fug that! I am a fan first.

I am not going to reach for a Panther, but I usually draft at least one. I took Olsen, Shockey and Mare this year.

My only rule when it comes to FF is, start no one against the Panthers. I had Roddy White and Turner as 1s the last two years and sat them both games for that reason. Still won both leagues.

I drafted Stafford as my backup QB and then relented and released him so I could pick up Cam... like SouthCak said, I would rather fail with my boys then succeed with someone else's.

I drafted Brady as my starting QB, but I justified that to myself by recalling that he and Cam did the UA commercial together, which means he's okay as far as FF goes.

I also picked up DeAngelo and Olsen, Olsen is going to have a monster year.

I guess its called Fantasy for a reason...

You dropped Stafford who you drafted, to pick up Nwton? You must be the laughing stock of Your league.

Why don't you find a bunch of other panther homers, start league with panthers players only. Then you can all sit around in a circle jerk and talk about how you, and the panthers dominate fantasy.

Don't think I haven't thought about that as well.....but you gotta stay committed to the rule. Overall it helps more than hurts.

Steve Smith is easily the WORST Panther a Panther fan could draft.

You know his potential and how good he could be....that is the problem....and every week you will try to reason as to why you should give him a shot over another WR who is simply in a better passing scenario.

again, I only apply this hardline rule to $ leagues.

smitty was the highest scoring player on any of my 4 teams this week with 44 points in one of my yahoo leagues.

I never draft Panther players simply because it's bad luck. Last time I drafted one it was Smith and the next day he punched out Ken Lucas.
