DT Marcus Harrison failed physical

Tony Brown is interesting. I said last week that i had heard from some reporter that he's been working like a madman after Microfracture surgery and is just about ready to play.

Ehhh Idk that sounds risky to mess with. We need someone ready for week one as well. I noticed that Tony Brown was rated one of the best defensive tackles in the NFL according to a NFL mag I have. I can't remember what it was called.

Jesus, this isn't THAT big of a deal. He was a waiver wire pickup who just got cut. It's not like we signed Ndamukong Suh and he failed a physical or anything.

No, he wasn't anything special. But he was at least someone to spell the other guys and that is what is being missed by many.

Going into a game with only 3 DT's on the roster is irresponsible. There is no other way to put it. Without a decent rotation of players, the young guys are going to get fatigued and someone is going to get hurt. Then we are really behind the eight ball.

I have generally been very supportive of Hurney, but he and the scouting department have really dropped the ball on this one. There have been DT's available, and we have the cap space to sign them. Now here we are less than a week before our first game with nothing. Now when they call one of the veterans for a one year deal, we will be paying more than necessary because they will know they have us over a barrel.

And frankly, you can apply the same comments to the CB position.

I am very disappointed in Hurney, and I'll bet there are players on our team feeling the same way.

The magazine was probably called "Don't read this because the person who wrote it is a moron."

Idk it rated Goodson the top #3 RB, Otah and Gross were rated very high, and it rated our line backers very high. It also predicted players that would come back this year and had T. Davis and it had Chris Gamble as a player who is going to have a make or break season. They know a lot about the NFL.

Sounds like the Panther's Media guide.
