We can only hope.. The last live Panthers game I was able to attend was in 2008 when the Panthers opened the season in San Diego and Delhomme hit Rosario in the back of the endzone with 0:02 left on the clock for the win.. That was awesome!!! You could hear a rat piss on cotton after that in that stadium. Lol

It got so quiet in that stadium. It felt like I was wearing noise canceling headphones. After my brain processes that we won, the whole section of charger fans looked at me, yelling drunkenly, and proceeded to take their aggressions out on us. Haha. Best game ever.

I was the sole Panther fan in a sports bar full of Bears fans when we beat them in the 05 playoffs, and the sole Panther fan in a sports bar full of Chargers fans, who were yelling at me the entire second half of that opener, when we couldn't stop them. God, that Rosario td felt so good.

Not to totally jack this thread on this subject, but I was at that SD game listening to nothing but drunk Chargers fans yelling all kinds of dumb things at me the whole game... You can hear some of the comments I had to listen to in this video... Mind you this was only the moment when the Panthers hit the field before the kickoff..

Once we scored that last second winning TD, I was finally able to turn around, and look at that entire row of antagonizing fans that sat behind me and clap vigorously in their face as they hung their heads and almost instantly knew that at that moment their season was already virtually over..

Can't wait... Any of you know of any decent eateries out that way for Saturday and Sunday night?

I've been told Delux is a great burger and beer joint and is open until 2:00am, but this'll be my first rodeo in the Phoeniz metro area so I can't say first hand.

Damn, now i dont now if i should get a "custom" Olsen jersey that takes 3 days to poo regardless of shipping selected, or a black Shockey that i can overnight.... Either way I don't want to order it and not have it, I've always been a TE, a fan of TE's, and now that we finally have good ones i'm like a kid in a candy store lol

edit... just gave in and bought a cheap white newton from the panthers store

Yeah when I ordered my Newton it said 10-12 weeks to ship but I was holding out hope I'd get it in 4-5 because that's happened before. No such luck. Now I give a damn if it's 11 weeks and 6 days til arrival. The wifey bought some Victorias Secret Pink collection Panthers tanks, although I don't know why they are called that seeing as they are completely blue and black.

      lol well that kinda ended up working out in the end, even though I still don't have my jersey yet. Was supposed to ship by tomorrow this time, but just got another email saying it was delayed another 3 weeks and because it's been delayed so long, I had to tell them to keep the order or cancel it, but gave me a 25% off my next order as an apology. Well, my original fear came true and they are now selling the FUSE version (but still not the Blue unfortunately) before the one I ordered was ever shipped. But that's awesome, because I was able to use that coupon to order the FUSE instead and then cancelled the original order.  So I got the jersey I wanted for only $6.30 more than the crappier version costs, and it also says it will be shipped immediately and get here early next week, or 2 weeks before the other was now supposed to be shipped out.

      I've watched this and think we are well underway.  Believe it or not, Bryce is a big part of this.  The way he bounced back with such grace.  And we've got a lot of young players who want to make their mark, Dave is giving them an opportunity.  I loved our draft.  I like the number of guys we brought in, and they will help build the culture we want under Dave.  We're getting closer, and I think we'll see more wins this year than most of the board. The right culture breeds winning, and winning builds the right culture.  Imho, it's coming.

      As others have said it's both. One creates the other. But it also takes time sometimes years. And there have been teams lately with new car smell coaching staffs that looked like they were putting it together quickly but things came crashing back down to Earth. Sustainability is the key. For that to happen the meddling of our owners has to stop and they cannot be tempted to return to their ways over any bump in the road either.
