question about yesterdays game

Being at the game, I can tell you they each filled in on rotation for like 1 play each every other series.

Also, Otah is still getting used to conditioning. He threw up in front of us multiple times. I forgot how angry Smitty seems on the sidelines, but the good news is after the int, he was right there giving Cam advice and motivating him. And after Goody went down a yard shy, Cam was sitting alone with a towel over his head, and Smitty came up to him and passionately gave him advice for over a minute. It was nice to see.

I am glad to see Smith and Cam getting along. I think he played bad last year because he didn't like Clausen and you could tell on the side lines that he hated Jimmy. I think this caused Smith to play like crap because he didn't care and Smiths Harassment probably hurt Clausens confidence which could of effected his play. I mean how would you want to play if your team was having a loosing season and your top receiver is talking trash to you?

This will definatly help Cam develop and help him become a better player with chemistry with Smith and probably a better leader. If people see that Smith can be happy with Newton then other players will probably like him as well considering Smitty is a hard person to please. Cam will be our team Captain in the next 3 years.

    • XL I dont even think he gets a full season. He's almost in a moment to moment tryout, post training camp. If he does his 'jumping out of bounds' catch again, I think the team calls him an Uber.
    • Kudos to the Knicks and their diehard, true fans. Like the Hornets, it wasn’t long ago that they were considered the laughing stock of the league with a trash owner (I guess Dolan has gotten a little better).    Loved seeing the energy in MSG.
    • Yeah one big factor has been he is surprisingly quite durable. But the reality of that aspect is much of it boils down to plain dumb luck more often than not. Big guys get hurt smaller guys get hurt it happens across the league to anyone to varying degrees. The issue is we are staring down the barrel of a possible top 10 QB salary and Bryce Young is one of the least physically gifted starters in the league. That is not a shot at him it is simply a rational acknowledgment of circumstances. There is a legitimate question to be asked if his window as a starter in this league is smaller as a result because what is going to happen when those hits that he has previously popped right back up from with a smile on his face begin to accumulate as they do for every player that has been in this league? These are just things to consider.
