If Cam continues to be on time and on target in the passing game the running game will improve. We have to get defenses away from the line of scrimmage. It was way to crowded Sunday thus nowhere to run

I watched the replay on NFL Network tonight. Though we didn't run alot, I felt as the game wore on and the passing game was working well the running game seemed to progressively get better. Rivera also said in his press conference that he felt the lack of success was due to the chemistry of the offensive line, or lack thereof, and that it should improve greatly in the future.

Just think about the passing game in association with a solid running game. It'll make Cam's play fakes so much more formidable.

I think you may be on to something. We do need to figure out out a way to protect our O-line from our opponents' defenses;)

I say we run I formation and get Cam to act as an extra offensive guard. Maybe even help out at center. Might help.

Eight in the box all day so Chudzinski used the pass to set up the run. The opposing defense was worn down enough in the second half for us to get a few runs off.

Goes back to what Rivera said in his initial presser about being adaptable.

Offensive line looked awful, guys falling on top of eachother, tripping eachother up, it was awful. Then then when J-stew breaks for a big run, Jeff Otah decides to hold.

they schemed against it just the way teams did to shut it down last year. stack the box w/ 6-8 and blitz consistently. there was no place for RBs to go. it just opened up the passing game that they didn't think would be successful.

once teams start to try and shut down receivers, the run game will take off again.

Yeah because that has anything to do with what I said. If there's 8 in the box throw the ball. If you are consistent enough completing passes against it there will no longer be 8 in the box then run the ball. This makes more sense then fox saying fug it im running regardless.
