NFL spokesman Greg Aiello tells PFT that, with the conclusion of the first two weeks of action, another Williams is available to be signed. Former Vikings defensive tackle Pat Williams has served his suspension while being unsigned. If/when he joins a team, he will be required to pay a fine in the amount of two game checks.

Pat Williams had been musing about retirement in recent years. After the 2010 season, he decided he wanted to still play. For most players, however, careers end not with tear-jerking press conferences but a permanent lockout from the league.

We never ended up signing that guy. We signed Ron Fields. Maybe if you guys weren't so enveloped in the Cam threads whenever you logged on and focused on other things..

And excuse the hell out of me for wasting your valuable time. This came from a tweet I received maybe an hour ago.

      It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth

      Not always. LT was for the Giants. So was Ray Lewis. Von Miller was moreso than Manning his final year in the season that shall not be named. It's usually the QB, but not always.
