Website help

My youngest son attends a private school (OK... it is two women home schooling kids in a Church) and their website sucks!! Here is the link:

http://rocca.webstarts.com/

I don't know much about web design, but surely I can come up with something better than that! How hard is it to create just a generic website like that? What is everyone using these days to create a website? Hosting ideas?

Any help anyone can give to steer me in the right direction would be awesome! Like I said, I just think they deserve something better than that website!

Just "acquire" dreamweaver and save yourself some hassle. It really makes CSS a lot easier to manage.

Alternatively I've heard that Comodo makes some good web design tools and they might be free but I don't really know.

In all I'd say you could make something equivalent to what they have in not much time at all and something better in six to eight hours if you know what you are doing... at least a little bit.

The photoshop time might take a while if you aren't used to kicking ass in photoshop.

that staff page is a gem.

ya that smile tiffany makes gets me all hot.

i'd like to pay her to be around my children.

No need for me to mention the obvious..........:D

Maybe you should consider sending your kid to a school run by people with some ability to make things work in the real world. That may help him some day.

Maybe I am just interpreting the above posts wrong, but you guys sound like a bunch of judgemental douche bags. It seems like everytime someone asks for advice it is always the same people that reply with a smart a$$ comment. I guess if your not in the "click" your not cool...

Thank you for the positive input lymelizzard and Floppin.

This will be my last post on this board so feel free to ban me or delete my account mods.

    • That's sometimes the case when it comes to the X's and O's of the game, and in film study. But when it comes down to the little things like hand/foot movement to beat X, Y, or Z coverage off the line or any other number of nuanced like that, basically the things players are discussing on the sideline between series, that's where the vets come into place. Those are the things that if the coaches who didn't have a ton of success were good at, they'd likely have had more success in their careers. But either way, none of that changes that coaches can only do so much, having vets to lean on is imperative to young players in their early years, it's not really even debatable.
    • Underrated point. And I can definitely see the same thing happening in Dallas. The Norman thing was so stupid. And I think (rightfully) it was the beginning of the end for Gettleman
    • GB thinks they have that in Love. Maybe they do maybe they don't. We'll see how it plays out. Ultimately it's all about the results on the field in the way of wins, losses, and ultimately rings. If they win a SB in the next few years it was obviously worth it.
