I have $1600 to bet on the bears game

Panthers +6.5 and the under seems like the right call. I still don't understand how the Bears are touchdown favorites - besides a fluke win against a banged up ATL o-line (btw, not even sure ATL is a good team themselves), they've looked like garbage. They have no run game (even worse than us) and their o-line would love to even attain "swiss cheese" status. I honestly think the line should be Bears -3.5 at best (homefield).

I nailed the cover and the over/under on the last 2 panthers games and my bookie has $1600 (ish) of my money.

Let it ride!

So how would you bet?

Line is 6.5 and o/u is 44.

I really like the under here.

I don't bet as big as you, but I'm up with my book.

I don't usually mess with the over/under but the under sounds good.

If I was trying to get right, I would like the Giants on the road vs the Cards.

Right now you can get them for only -2 before the line jumps.

That's what I'm taking.

I would quit while I was ahead but if you insist on betting I would say

Panthers +6.5

Over 44

Some buddies back home owed me money and I told them to give it to my bookie (same town). Rolled it over twice. If I had the guts to do a parlay I would be up bigtime.

I don't usually bet this big.

I bet small, mainly for fun.

I love parlays, I can't resist the payout.

But, I bet them like the lottery, if they hit great, if not? oh well.

But I do a couple of parlays and couple of teasers every weekend in addition to a couple of straight up bets.

I'm up big with my bookie too. Not as big as you, but around $400 only 3 weeks into the season. If we would have beaten Green Bay, I'd be closer to your territory on the year. Don't bet on Carolina man. Bet everything evenly on Bils Vs whoever and the over and Patriots Vs. Whoever on the over. Neither team can stop a damn thing, but they score ridiculous amounts of points every week.

    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
    • Ok LT and Petersen are a cut above everyone else to me cmc and Faulk are interchangeable on this list.  though Faulk was better career wise
    • Maybe faked was too strong of a word.  "Milked" may be the better way to call it.
