Ok, maybe it should have been "shot at" by an AK-47.

I have been shot by an AK (from a considerable distance) and have the scars on my legs where it went through my right leg and stopped in my left. I crumbled like one of those newborn baby deer and it burned like hell.

I was gonna go with "Painful, I imagine", but clearly you have first hand experience.

Not something I'd like to go through.

On a side note - was that video meant to be a promotion of his product? 'Cos although the production values are very good (the lighting/white balance/framing etc), the whole thing looks very amateurish.

Did it burn right away or did it take a moment?

I've seen people get shot, go down, then get up wondering wtf just happened. Then they realize they were shot.

Took a second. At first I thought my buddy next to me had given me the back of the knee thing and kicked the hell out of my leg at the same time.

When I was on the ground I realized my buddy was still 3 yds away and I tried to get back up. Then a sharp sting followed by what felt like a laser through both legs and I crumbled. The round missed bone so it was pretty much a tampon fix until the medic arrived. I was up and walking in 30 minutes.

They figure the rifleman had to be at least 500 to 600 yards away and it would have went through the side of my vest or in my arm if he would have corrected for us being on a hill.
