Im a journalist student at LSU and my colleague called me yesterday, March 18th saying he was looking directly at John Fox at our (LSU) Pro Day. I hope this hasn't already be posted, but my guess is he is scouting some of our D-lineman.

i actually spoke with ricky a couple of times this season on the sidelines. a large dude with a great personality. he would be my pick too, because sometimes tyson under achieved this year at times.

tyson sounds too much like the peppers we would rather not have ... inconsistent motor.

i like the idea of that ricky guy, though. you know much about his past injuries? are they anything to worry about?

Being an LSU fan I watched every game last season. Francois or Tyson Jackson would definitely be able to step in and hold their own on the line. Francois is more of a power lineman, and is also a huge body to plug up the line. Jackson is more of a pass rusher, but either way I wouldnt be against getting either of them.

He battled with a groin pull towards the end of last season, but to my knowledge he's never really had any major problems.

i think both would be great fits, my only concern with tyson is that he has been hyped up so much by local media and fans, but didn't have the standout year that everyone predicted.

    • You must be one of these "one move away guys."
    • ESPN has a whole is just hot takes and the dumbest takes possible. That is why it sucks so badly. They intentionally drag everything down to a lightspeed retarded level so that it is unwatchable. No jounalism, no nuance, no in depth analysis....just idiot after idiot blabbering/shouting about some hot button issue that they really have no real strong opinions about until the camera is rolling.
    • Young is the overwhelming priority. We have ample time on them and it's far easier to pivot at WR than QB. Remember that 2026 is year 4 for Bryce. That is 5th year option decision time and also the prime time to attempt to regain resources if a pivot is made. The odds of gaining any assets in a trade afterwards plumment very rapidly(all this depending on performance, obviously). At the end of that cycle, now we are likely in a $45+ million territory for him to remain.  So that decision trumps all others by a mile when it comes to personnel.
