No Trades

Hurney never discusses whether or not we are having trade talks with anyone until they are done so he would deny it even if we were hip deep in negotiations.

So take what he says with a grain of salt.

Most of these rumors come from the agents. Hurney may very well have put out some feelers with them, but it never got to the point of talking directly to the other team.

So keep the speculation flowing.

Hurney said it but I don't like it. No we aren't gonna win the Superbowl and probably won't make the Playoffs either, but we can get a lot better quickly with the addition of Brandon Lloyd. We'd look like this: Smith, Lloyd, Lafell, Pilares. Put Naanee on the bench with Clausen. Plus we'd get Gettis back next year as our No. 3

I think if we stop makeing mistakes then we can make a run. Take out the mistakes in 1st 5 games we would be 5-0 right now!

Yes, we've been in every game and mistakes on both sides of the ball has kept us from getting a win. Although not enough production from a WR not named Steve Smith hasn't helped either, with the exception of Lafell; I gotta give him his props, he should be our #2 right now. But Lloyd would fight for the ball, not stumble, not trip over his own feet when the ball is thrown to him. Lloyd will just flat out go get the ball. Naanee is, wellllll, you've seen him. He would be a great addition, but to be honest, I really would love for us to get a taller WR. Like, Plexico; since he's not available: Jefferies from South Carolina. This will help Cam out with those high throws.
