So who would you like the Panthers to draft with our 4th overall pick?

I think really unless there is a knock out star player at any Pos we should Draft BPA. The problems that we are having now will be solved by Beason coming back and some Good Vet pick up in FA. Im sorry but sometimes schemes need older players that know what to do and this is one of them. If we fail in FA we fail next year as well.

Can Burfict play OLB? we already have Beason at MLB

That's been debated ad nauseum on here....it remains to be seen. Some have suggested we should just draft Burfict and put Beason outside again....complete fail imo....

I see the Panthers going no better than 5-11 which puts them at 6 or so. They must use at least 3 or their first 4 picks on the atrocious defense. Vontaze Burfict would give the Panthers the best Linebacking core in NFL and would improve the Panthers so much. After drafting Fua and McClain last year I can't see the Panthers taking another D tackle. Although Burfict does have some character issues, the Panthers should be able to deal with that with veteran leadership (Beason, Smitty, etc.) and turn him into the 2nd coming of Ray Lewis. With Smitty, Gettis, LaFell, Olsen, and Shockey on offense, drafting another offensive weapon would be a waste. 2nd round has to be a corner. Munnerlyn is butt, Butler is slightly better, and Gamble is mediocre. Hogan has upside but other than that our secondary is absolutely terrible. 4th round should be o line. A backup that they can groom into a starter in 1-2 years would be perfect. I can't see a reason take take an offensive skill position player in the first 4 rounds.

I really don't know why people believe Burfict will just all of a sudden change when he gets to the NFL....he's always been a loose cannon. Like someone already said, he tried to shred Matt Barkley's knee in HS when they were both committed to USC....

    • More so than the stats it was against that killer defense in their own stadium, the same defense that made Mahomes look like a total JAG in the SB. The way Bryce handled adversity all game was simply phenomenal , the off script play in the end zone, scrambling out of a sack/safety to find XL deep was one of the best plays we have seen out of a Panthers QB on what should have been a game winning drive
    • He’s about to be 0-12 in the conference finals and we’ve been outscored 16-4 in this series after only losing 2 games the previous two rounds and looking really in control of the series. There’s major red flags here as to why he seems so overmatched once he gets to a certain level. There comes a point where “just getting there” isn’t good enough. We are at that point.
    • Listening to the post-game, and holy poo! Has Rod ever said, "this one's on me." When asked about composure, he threw Staal and Martinook under the bus. "Those 2 can't be your best players." Disregarding that he didnt answer the question, does he realize how that sounds to professional athletes? When asked how you prepare for game 4, "I'm not even thinking about that." Clearly, Rod.
