What an incredible ending. Shame some of you dweebs spoiled it. Not talking about the people who marked it as spoilers, but the ones who went "zomg guys now I don't wanna spoil anything but you can expect some main characters to die over the next few episodes!"

in the comics, carl is the one that kills shane by shooting him in the neck. they bury shane and several weeks later when rick realizes you turn into a zombie regardless of how you died, he drives back to atlanta and digs shane up and kills him again

that's just it. there is no hope, there will never be a cure and things are only going to get worse and worse and worse

the walking dead doesn't even refer to the zombies, its a reference to the living

Wow I am pretty happy about the episode and I can tell you my spoiler story -

Last December I was in the book store doing some Christmas shopping and saw the comic anthologies and wanted to have a look at the art. I opened up to one page and there, full page and unmistakeable, was Carl shooting Shane, and I was so pissed at myself for looking - so actually it made tonight even better because I was thinking they would put off Shanes death another week.....

that really sucks. i've learned my lesson doing that a few times.

edit: also the artwork is definitely not the draw to the comics. they all look like rex morgan or dick tracy style artwork. which works for walking dead

I use to watch it just for Walking Dead previews. Now I watch it all the way through. Just to see what kind of stuff people bring in lol
