Charles Johnson and Dan Akroyd?

He's an adult and can wear what he wants. However, it was in poor taste to make that his profile pic and that's really what the issue I have with him. These dumbass athletes need to get off twitter.

If anyone is wondering why our country is in the sh1tter......

It's not the end of the world, but I think it's a bit of a slap in the face to the Panthers and the fans for him to walk around in a Falcons hat... esp after we just finished losing to them.

He's a big UGA guy, someone should ask him if he ever sported a Florida, Auburn or South Carolina hat while he was at UGA?

A better question for him would be would he wear a Georgia Tech hat if it matched his outfit? If the answer is yes to that or a Florida, or Auburn then it truely doesn't matter. I for one am a HUGE Panthers fan and would never wear any other NFL gear at all, that being said I am not a baseball fan at all so I have a few different MLB teams hats that I wear because I like the logo or how it fits.

Everybody can go back and forth on this forever (and it looks like they might) but the bottom line is our opinions on the matter aren't the same as his. To him, it's just not a big deal. Kevin Durant was asked recently about wearing a Chicago Bulls hat and his response was: 'It just happened to match my outfit the best" haha. I mean he's from GA and he's @ a bar, ha. As long as he's busting his @$$ out on the field on Sunday afternoon then I could care less. :chillpill: <-- take 2 with your favorite drink and relax!

He is wearing that hat for the same reason Tom Brady wears a New York Yankee hat.

No big deal. Neither has anything to do with pulling for those current teams.

Tom wearing an MLB's team hat is not the same as if Tom was wearing a San Diego Chargers hat 4 days after a loss to the Chargers.

The guy was born, raised, played high school and college ball in Georgia. I bet he idolized the Falcons, no reason to hate on a player if he likes another team. Even if they are a huge rival.

Was it in poor taste... yeah. But NCstoner has a good point here.

I guess the worst part of it is he tweeted it... that's a head scratcher!

    • The truth is @CarolinaLivin posted it and I took notice at the names and drove into the rabbit hole, just happen it lead to Plebbit. One of my favorite draft gurus loves KC, just that he's around other panther WRs that have struggled..I mean Im about the only XL supporter leftd. Im like 50/50, but honestly haven't done enough to feel strong either. The drop and zone stuff is not what I like the weakness to be, but he is explosive, play all 3 WR spots, and does have playmaking skills which is rare. Right now I wouldn't be upset if panthers used the 51st. Months ago I told the huddle to prepare for a early WR selection.
    • I appreciate the optimism but there's no way in hell anyone is going to give us a 2nd or a 3rd. We'd legitimately be lucky to get a 5th. Logically it really makes no sense to move him this season anyways. We do know he is a high character guy and should be extra motivated to bounce back from last season. See how it goes and revisit next year.
    • I would add that it is probably likely that you need a T during the season--I am wildly speculating that they like something about Forsythe.  However, that is not enough.  We need 4 players who can play OT in the NFL---we have 3. That suggests that we are going to add an OT at some point.  Perhaps related, but probably a pure depth move: Brady Christensen is an interesting situation. He is likely to miss the first 2 months of the 2026 season, and he will be 30.  He can play all OL positions.  That would give depth when it is usually most needed--the last half of the season.  With his injury, I doubt his phone is ringing much.  I think I would offer a 2-year deal (1.5 if you want to be realistic) for the vet minimum.
