- Balanced rushing attack

- Passing accuracy

- 10 possessions (not counting the final kneel-down), 7 scores (3 TDs, 4 FGs)

- Zero turnovers

- Johnson, Anderson, Applewhite on defense

- Naanee's improvement, Lafell getting into the game and contributing

Didn't like

- WAY too many penalties

- Defensive tackles still invisible

- Gave up too many sacks

- Made Hightower look like a Pro Bowler

- Still need to turn a lot of the FGs into TDs

Better clock management and good play calling all game. Coaching was better in this game and look! We won! We are so so very thin on talent at DT and LB, but the defense still managed to get off the field when it mattered.

Possibly the start of a win streak. Vikes will face a tough test next week against a team with the taste of victory still fresh. This is precisely how we should have won the CHi and NO games. We could easily be 4-3 right now.

I bolded what I thought were the biggest. It was great to get a win, but those penalties were scary. I'm impressed with Applewhite.

Applewhite had a couple of good plays last week too.

i'm impressed by this guy. usually, players picked up later in the season like he was aren't playing for a reason....and the reason is, they suck. however, he looks really solid and has fire.

on a second note, he looks surprisingly similar to Philip Rivers... :rofl:

      For this reason, BY will not play against the Packers. They will find a reason for him to stay on the bench again.

      Well he quickly deflected the question about Rico's "almost 7 YPC." He is very polished and he transitioned well to non-answers and side steps. I can see why a guy like him was able to pull the wool over on guys like Tepper.

      31st rushing D and 8 carries by Rico is coaching.  Rico is easily the best offensive weapon right now and it’s not really close.  *literally everyone knows Dalton is washed, horrible and shouldn’t even be a backup QB.   Drive 1? ZERO carries.  Coaching.  Drive 2 - Rico was playing great.   Did Canales lean into that or go for “balance”? Coaching. Drive 3 - ZERO carries.  Coaching  Drive 4 - 1 carry and opted for Jimmy Horn gadget rush (you can’t stick  with the Horn repetitive gadget runs each week and that’s not a better idea than getting Rico going)  Drive 5 - basically Dalton heavy as the half expired.  I don’t need to watch a game to know it’s coaching.  The gameplan wasn’t about setting Rico up to go off on a trash rush D.  It was bullshit harmony balance of the rush and the pass and making Hubbard feel good.
