I just find it real difficult to understand why Cam is throwing 36 passes per game and DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart are combining for only 18 carries a game.

same reason Brees, Brady, Manning etc don't have RBs rushing 20-30 times a game. We are passing team. The rules setup so that there are more advantages to be a passing team.

Yeah, I did notice, it was a lot more balanced last game which I personally think contributed to the offense's success quite a bit.

last game we ran the ball 37 times and threw the ball 27 times. you mean balanced like that?

btw...newton is now part of the rushing game. that has to be accepted. 2 better than 1. 3 better than 2.

When you are looking at balance also include screens and dump passes to the backs as just an extension of the running game. Consider it a legal forward lateral.

@ Arizona- Williams and Stewart: 19 carries, Cam: 37 attempts

vs. Green Bay- Williams and Stewart: 11 carries, Cam 46 attempts

vs. Jacksonville- Williams and Stewart: 20 carries, Cam 34 attempts

@ Chicago- Williams and Stewart: 18 carries, Cam 46 attempts

vs. New Orleans- Williams and Stewart: 15 carries, Cam 31 attempts

@ Atlanta- Williams and Stewart: 19 carries, Cam 35 attempts

vs. Washington- Williams and Stewart: 24 carries, Cam 23 attempts (Look at the result, a huge win)
