IDK if he knows this but the contradicted himself. He says the Viking need to blitz from the outside yet says we need to attack vertically. Well yea if there blitzing from the outside...

Thats what we have done all season. The Vikes would be better off playing Cover 2 and zone blitzing to confuse Newton because our run defense is horrid.

That is what makes this offense so dangerous. If they send an extra guy on a blitz and keep a spy in the middle, that just opens things up downfield.

We are a very difficult team to defend.

I'm so tired of hearing about not allowing AP to rush for 120 yards. Bring it. Let him rush for 120. That will be good for what, 14 points at most?

They still need the yards from somewhere else to obtain 3 more TD's to tie cause we're putting up 35 this Sunday. 3TDs in the first half, two in the second. I'd rather it be the other way around, but I'll take it either way. 35-28 Panthers.

Peterson will get his, nothing we can really do about it. But we're going to get our 30-35 points and there's nothing they can do about it either, as long as we don't turn the ball over too many times.

Asking us to stop Peterson from running is like asking defenses to stop Brees from being an accurate passer. It's just not going to happen but it doesn't mean we can't still beat them into submission by relentlessly driving down the field and scoring drive after drive. Make all of his rushing yards a waste.

You dont stop AP, you contain him.. Which is absolutely possible, probable is more like it. Peterson has played in 68 games, 41 of those he was held to under 100 yards. Yous can figure out the percentage, but right off the top of my head thats around 60%. He was held to less the 50yds 11 times, with 4 more games more than 51-60yds. So around 25% of the time he was almost shutdown... He has 2 games over 200yds, both in his rookie season, which was 5 years ago.....

Thanks Gang!! A lot of the time its about WHEN a back gets their yards.. If they have the majority in the 1st half, then so be it.. What kills a team is consistent yards gained over 4qtrs...that'll get'cha every time

yup... rushing yards that set up long drives throughout the game and help out the passing game can really hurt you...

like Turner vs the Falcons... it wasn't his yardage total that killed us but our inability to stop him when we needed to, which kept our defense on the field.

Great job. Your vids help me get pumped for the game, even when you pick the other guys.

Keep it up!

    • D Carr must have really disliked the saints to wait and do this announcement after the draft has passed if he made this call a few weeks before the draft sure they would have approached it and the offseason differently.  oh well will be interesting to see how their qbs perform.  would love to see them roll with Thill and just make the whole offense towards his skillset.  Although sadly would be only playing in about half the games with how often he gets injured.
    • I have to say it's quite fascinating seeing you pivot from months and months of wailing and agonizing about threads derailing into Bryce Young slingfests only for you to turn around and do the same thing. And just for the record. Nobody in life ever attained wisdom and clarity from mistakes by having people blindly fawn over them and tell them they are above reproach and incapable of making mistakes. Our front office is just as human as we are. And based on the fact that front offices across the league outside of a handful of teams change on a fairly regular basis it's safe to say they are certainly no more infallible than the average Joe even though they possess significantly more knowledge usually. If you want a utopia where all you do is shine shoes for anyone associated with the Panthers you go right on ahead and create yourself a new community sir. More power to you.
    • I trust Morgan when it comes to LBs so I think Wallace will do well.
