Advice That You Probably Won't Take

We are all upset about the loss to the Vikings and we should be, it was a game we should of had because we are the better team. You all should be mad about it and you have the right to complain about it and I know that pisses a few people off on this board. Now that I have said that let me get to the point of this thread.

It makes everyone look like children when you get into fights with each other over games, were all panther fans here and that should be like a family to everyone and not a bunch of people you hate that just happen to root for the same football team. ALL I see is posts about how "your an idiot if you think Mare cost us the game" and "your an idiot if you don't think Mare cost us the game" We lost the game as a team not just a single player.

I know its a ruff and painful season and I know we disagree often but were all brothers and sisters panthers here and the Bullshit really needs to end. fug all the other 31 Teams but show damn respect for each other damn it.

If no on finds meaning in this post then I don't think this forum is the right place a true panther fan should be posting on.

Yesterday's loss was the worst, but I am not going to be miserable bitching for the next 7 months about anything. I had next year in mind for when we would start winning and nothing has changed that. Yeah the way Cam has played has given me some hope for this year, but realistically next year will be the year.

This loss stung big time. It's devastating.

But I'm keeping this all in perspective. We have Cam and the future is bright. We are so close to being a winning team, but we keep making all the little mistakes that end up costing us big. That's not going to keep happening forever. This team will improve drastically from where we are now to 3 months from now, 6 months from now, a year from now, etc.

I hate coming here after a loss. Things always get blown out of proportion and over-analyzed. We lost. We're a young team right now, but I think the thing so many folks are forgetting is how much better we are than we thought we'd be.

I want to win, but I also understand that we're not a playoff team this year so any loss is more about focusing on the positives an what we can build on as opposed to the negatives that, IMO, will be addressed. This isn't Fox we're dealing with; he may not say so openly, but Rivera knows where we need improvement and everything I've read/heard about him leads me to believe he'll demand it from his staff and players or send them packing.

But yeah, I agree with the post. Far too much negativity after losses around here. Lots of pointless bickering and bullshit.

Liking one thing in common makes us a family? Didn't know the world worked that way

We need to stay a strong fan base and support each other and our team the best we can if we ever want to really be one of the best.

    • You would hope so. I’m confused why the sports world seems split on Bryce when he’s obviously not working out.
    • So let’s do the reverse? Make everyone agree everything he does is a disaster? I also think the whole “gaslighting” is on the eye of the beholder. It went from he can’t avoid one single sack countered with he actually did that well Sunday (with data backing it) to a little breakdown of why he is so bad. People are going to have different opinions. I’m also not going to pretend this wasn’t happening Day one with this little QB.
    • All this great stuff he has done, how often does he do it?  I have it at three or four games out of 14 where he was very good and then you get a drive here or a series there where there are some good things. Here is the gaslight part: everyone has put him on a curve with his first year the baseline, neglecting to understand how bad he was then. Even if he comes back twice as good, where does that really leave him? 25th ranked or thereabouts.     He had so far to go, and still does, it is a Major ‘settle’ to accept his play as worthy of giving him our future.  You want to settle when the Bucs have Mayfield, and the Saints have overtaken us at QB? We will be third in the division at QB. That is good enough for y’all?
