The thing I love most about Shockey besides his pass catching ability is that he is a great teammate. You know he is always gonna stick up for you. I hated him when he was a Saint but now that he is here I love him. I have made this comparison before but he is a Noah-like player. You hate him when he is not on your team but love him if he is a teammate of yours.

I never thought of Shockey as a "Ruin the locker room" type of guy, more as a "Potential to get into a fight and cost your team 15 yards then get ejected" type.

He's really the Steve Smith of TEs.

The refs hate him though :(

Yea i agree. Did anybody see the Cowboys Game? When The Eagles corner hooked Dez Bryant? He was just yelling at the ref curseing him out using every word in the book. Him and Romo, and I was thinking to my self if it was Shockey or Smith they would've got penalized.

Love Shockey's performance this year. He plays with lots of fire and you can tell he's good for this lockerroom. Plus he'll be playing with a massive chip on his shoulder against NO twice a year. Didn't work out really well for us on the first try, but it doesn't hurt to have that going forward.

      Dave in a presser gassed up Anthony Tyus III and dying to see him on the field.  I mean 3 is all that needed right, and Dan loves etienne. He's one year filling in his body. If brooks is back, toss in chubba, thats 3.

      After seeing hits in the last two UDFA pools, I do not in this group sorta of a let down after I gassed myself up.  Not like I know of their games, but just expected more. The duke DT only has to beat out hunte (2025 UDFA) or Ray (DL coach's kid) or even Cam Jackson mid 2025 5th.  I thought they would bring in more edges, IOL, TEs, etc...

      My 2 favorite picks, since you didn't ask? 3. Brazzell II.  A 1000 yard WR with 4.37 speed and checks all the boxes for a Z Wide Receiver.  IN THE THIRD ROUND!!! 5.  Sam Hecht.  I think he will take over as the starter at some point this season and never look back.  IN THE FIFTH ROUND. Runner Up:  2. Hunter:  We were targeting a DT early in this draft because we did very little to replace Robinson in free agency.  Hunter was our guy and he will start. In addition to that, you got a starting tackle that should man one side of the new OL we will build for Bryce's second contract. A starting WR, offensive lineman, defensive lineman and possible Offensive tackle (at some point during this year from this draft will start.  UNREAL. In addition, I don't doubt that Wheatley (5th round) takes the FS job by next year and Lee III is Jackson's replacement in 2027.   Finally, even Kuwatch should be a special teams demon and LB depth.   Last year's draft was so good it was ugly.  This one will turn out to be uglier.  No offense Basbear--this ain't about you.
