I don't care what our positions of need are. If on draft day, our pick comes up and Justin Blackmon is there.... We HAVE to take him. Reminds me so much of Andre Johnson in the way he plays.

LOL, I have been saying you have just got to watch him play. He is ridiculous, he made the DB look stupid on that touchdown pass and he just gets open at will. Hard to pass up for any team.

We need a receiver who can stretch the field. Blackmon doesn't fit that role properly.

Slightly overvaluing the receiver position. Keeping the QB healing >> 4,000 yards passing. I LOVE Blackmon, but this team using a high pick on a receiving with Matt Kalil on the board (if that happens) would be fuging stupid.

Especially since its been proven 1,000 times over that you can find really good receivers outside the first round of the draft.

I don't expect Kalil to make it past the 2nd pick. If we are pick 2, then of course you take Kalil, I'm not thinking we pick quite that high. I wasn't thinking head to head with the best LT in the draft. Just in terms of value.

Blackmon is one of the best at adjusting to the ball in mid-air. He may not be 6-4, but he is definitely the epitome of a deep threat.
