Not really interested. If the team was dead set on taking an OT high, and I'm not sure they are, we'd be better off trading down and acquiring Riley Reiff. Lots of good tackles in this years class, even in the later rounds.

Lets be honest, does anybody really know what we're gonna take with our first round pick? Nope. I mean, did anybody really think we would take 2 DT's in the 3rd round last year? Or trade a 1st round pick for Everette Brown? Lets just hope we get a solid pick that will be with us for a LONG while like Gross, Gamble, Wharton, Smitty.

I just turned it to the game and he got beat on both plays I saw. Gave up a qb hit, then his guy got inside on a dive. USC scored a TD in spite of him, not because of him. Only two plays though

Have to agree. With Otah still under contract and the coaching staff's fondness for Bell along with his solid play, I have a hard time envisioning them investing a high draft pick on a Tackle. There are other good OT's that can be had in the later rounds. With the lack of any quality FA DTs this year, I'd say DT is at the top of our big board right now.

Good. That opens up to doing exactly what we need to do. Trade down and acquire some more picks, most notably our 3rd back. Devon Still is a nice DT prospect that might be there in the mid first. Alemedu Taamu is the top NT in this years class, and could be exactly what we need.

Getting our third back gives us the ability to get a Danny Trevathan and address that need.

Still in the first, Robert Lester in the second, and Trevathan in the third would bolster this defense and allow us to use some luxury picks beyond that.
