after rewatching the AZ game, i've noticed that he wasn't even close to playing up to par on that bad achilles. yes, i realize he was playing injured but who's to say that slowness and lack of production won't stay with him? i'm a huge believer in him, he's a beast and will do whatever it takes to get back to 100%. what do you guys think?

100% after a full achilles tear is basically impossible

70-80% if you're lucky

so then why the fug would the medical/training/coaching staff let him play?

every year we have an incredible amount of players go down to injury. when was the last time we had a medical staff change-up?

posted this already on here, a study looking at achilles injuries in the nfl very recently showing roughly 1/3 never played in the nfl again post-injury and ones that did return saw a large increase in the number of missed games as well as a ratings/production drop about 50% on average. feel free to search for it if you want

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
