Peppers Agent

Sorry, I don't have the time to spend all day on a message board and keep up with everything that has ever been discussed. It's that time of year with football not much going especially with the panthers. I know the issue has been beat to death, but I thought it was an interesting bit of info regarding his agent. It is shame that your great intellegence has been insulted.

Don't take things personally. Many of the posters here can querry and do remarkable things to say what was posted three years ago as well as yesterday. I'm like you, I don't have the time to research whether something was said about Pepper's agent or not in a previous post. Everyone has a choice in reading YOUR post or not. Post all you want. There's enough of us out here that can pick up a tidbit or two from repost (as they call it). I'm friends with several of the ones that like to point out repost, (it's the same ones most of the time) and they mean no disrespect. I can see their side, but also understand that most of us are not as savvy as they when it comes to researching the huddle.

What you have read about Pepper's agent is true. He is a friend of Peppers and has had no previous experience as an agent. He's not worried. He's a multimillionaire. When Peppers stops playing his agent will gladly retire.

Apology accepted.

Sarcastic and insulting apology NOT accepted... If the guy is too stupid to know before now the story on Peppers and Carey until now, then he should have known better than to think nobody else knew it - oh wait!

I did not think that no one else knew this information. I was simply commenting that this situation with his agent doesn't help him or the Panthers. I'm not sure that intellegence is based on one's knowledge of athletes and their agents. If that is how you gauge if one is stupid or not, than more power to you. I quess I shouldn't have been a smart a**. I just responded to what I thought was a rude post to begin with, it wasn't directed towards anyone else.

Sorry I was so harsh, I was being sarcastic too, didn't mean anything by it...

    • One thing about it, he's not thinking about retiring. I found it odd that some Huddlers were taking rumors and running with them, imagining a slow down and "up-playing" injuries. Moton feels great and is still in his prime according to him, and his game is still indicative of his thoughts.  Sure, it may ultimately come down to economics, but I am sure that everyone involved is motivated to keep him in Charlotte.
    • I think the knee stuff with Moton has been blown way out of proportion. The exact quote was “It’s chronic stuff. Most linemen deal with it. But it’s just figuring out what we can do to make sure it’s limited and I’m still able to explode off it, which right now I can and I feel like I can in the future,” After a while, you start learning more about it and what can we do to make sure it’s as little of an issue as possible. I feel like I’m moving like I was when I was younger.” I don't view that as a guy who's saying his knees are on their last leg I see that as a 10-year NFL olineman saying that obviously after 10 years of playing a really physical sport, he's never truly gonna be 100% healthy again and he's gonna need to spend more time with the training staff to ensure his body can continue to perform at a high level. I think Moton has another 3 to 5 years left if he wants to continue playing.
    • So much crying. Tiresome. All of you should have had enough time to come to terms with the team picking up his 5th year...
