Been talking with Biscuit about a nice, dress-up dinner date with my girlfriend for part of her Christmas. Any ideas where to go/what to do after dinner? We will be eating at Roy's Riverboat Landing. Something within walking/short-drive would be preferred, but I'll take any suggestions. We'll be casual-dress (myself in khakis and a nice ass shirt, her in her little black dress, most likely).

there is a horse/carriage ride that leaves just across from roy's (if i'm thinking of the right place), it goes all through downtown wilm...might be something she'd like. i think they do seasonal themed rides too...

also there is a really cool fondue place a little further down front street, the little dipper is the name i believe. they are pricey but you basically order a thing of chocolate and can add various flavorings (banana liquor or peanut butter etc) and they bring you a platter of stuff to dip it in. they have a nice back deck to sit on if the weather is nice.

What's a nice ass shirt? Does it have a picture on the front or the back?

:D

PM Biscuit or MCP or Klong. I think they live in the ILM.

No. Just a real nice black button up. Looks good as poo on me though. Simple, yet does the trick. Plus, it's an outfit she picked out a few years ago (because dressing in anything but blue jeans and a t-shirt is beyond me).

I thought about the carriage rides. She actually knows the guy who does it. Well, her dad does. If anybody has ever been down Princess St. to Robinson's Alignment, that would be her dad's shop. It'd be something nice.

And IDK..I could get used to the idea of having Biscuit show up with a violin. I could bring my guitar and we could just serenade. Something like this:

I've been there, doubt if anybody else here has. I used to drive a wrecker.

    • What I love and hate about this team is it’s more filled with potential breakout players than ever before. JT, XL, Coker, Smith-Wade, Ikem, Trevin… and even Bryce are all guys I could legitimately see taking the next step. But the problem with having so many of those guys is that team success somewhat relies on them taking that step, and some are bound not to. That being said, I’m cautiously optimistic given our softer schedule, the way the offense clicked late last year, and the direction we finally have at GM, coach, and QB. Could see us as a sneaky playoff team.
    • Me, signing up for FanDuel Network, and then canceling FanDuel Network:
    • Smith-Wade for me. He has the path to some decent hefty snaps in Evero’s scheme. He held his own last year and improved as he continued to get snaps— If he makes some strides, could be a very capable nickel.  I agree with Sanders. Bryce had some trust in him that final Falcons game post crazy head-stand.  Bryce looked for him a lot that final game and made some critical catches to get us the W. Seems he’s put in major work so I’m hopeful about him.  Wallace will have an offseason under his belt. I like him a lot, was higher graded than most remember in his draft (I.e Brugler had him LB3/70 overall) but he isn’t as cerebral of an LB as we’re used to. I think he could thrive if we get D captain/film-junky type next to him— because right now that’s Jewell.  Still a bit cautious but love the talent. Rozeboom may snag some playing time from him if he’s still working out the kinks.
