QB Rating for Week 13

I completely disagree that the Total QBR is "better". In the introduction to the stat, even Gruden and Jaws were questioning why make it.

Yeah, you're right. Rushing statistics shouldn't be accounted for when talking about QBs right?

And a 9 yard pass on 3rd and 15 is just as good as a 9 yard pass on 3rd and 6 right?

Also, a 45 yard pass, which was thrown -2 yards then the RB broke 9 tackles to get the rest shows the same amount of talent as a 45 yard pass, through the air on the money, right?

Further controversy erupted when the Total QBR system gave the Denver Broncos' The Golden Calf of Bristol a higher rating than the Green Bay Packers' Aaron Rodgers in their respective Week 5 contests. Noting that Rodgers completed 26 of 39 passes for 396 yards and two touchdowns in a win over the Atlanta Falcons, while The Golden Calf of Bristol completed four of 10 passes for 79 yards and a touchdown, and six rushes for 38 yards and a touchdown, in a loss to the San Diego Chargers

Stats are meaningless unless your stats look like Rodgers or Breesus'. Cam seems solid but he'll need a lot of help for this team to be successful and I don't think the coaches or the gm is capable of building around him.

Why is Armanti Edwards still on the team and getting playtime? To me that is the best example of the widespread incompetence on the coaching and management side of the team.

Ahhh I was looking at his passer rating. Which is practically identical.

Old news...it's been debated before. The Golden Calf of Bristol accounted for as many touchdowns as Rodgers in less than half the time.

Lets not pretend the QB Rating didn't have it's flaws when ol Jim Clausen was rated higher than Brees.

Whatever statistic you choose, Moore is rated higher than Cam. The total QBR will have it's kinks but overall it encompasses much more about the game and situations than the old rating system, including rushing and rushing TDs, which you Cam fanboys should love.

Like I said before, in the old system, 9 yards is 9 yards, in the new one, 9 yards on 3rd and 6 is better than 9 yards on 3rd and 15, which every fan knows. It also takes into account a lot of other things.
