Did John Fox get more out of his team last year than Ron Rivera has this year?

-Lame duck coach starting a rookie QB

- WR's decimated by injuries including his all world WR

- RBs decimated last year by injuries

- no offensive targets at all last year

- Lost Gross, Otah out of the O-line last year

- No tight end options

- Still dealt with no true DT's

Ron Rivera this year has:

- Healthy WR corps

- Plethora of capable tight ends

- Healthy RB group

- still without quality DTs

- Lost all pro MLB

I just think that Coach Fox got "more" out of this team last year given what he had to work with then Ron Rivera has this year.

Did you watch any of the games last year? It was like watching a highschool team trying to compete in the nfl, It was very painful to say the least.

john fox also had the benefit of an installed system and culture that had been in place for several years, whereas rivera's team has been learning on the go and is still learning

comparing fox's system to our current system is like comparing middle school to college as far as complexity goes on both defense and offense
