not surprising. he's got his big fat contract already, doesn't need to care or try anymore

Unbelievable!

The guy has been battling this injury for several weeks and it got the best of him. I suppose you would prefer they risk his availability for next year just so you can feel better about his contract?

proof is that this forum is still here. this place would have exploded if peppers tried to pull this same crap. with CJ for some reason it's "oh whatever, let him go drink and bail on his teammates, no biggie"

Who said anything about this fabricated quote being OK, and there is no evidence that the underlying premise has any validity whatsoever.

it's the NFL, every single player plays through pain and injury, EVERY single one. the only difference is that CJ got his money and doesn't give a sh*t anymore. he could clearly play if he wanted to.

remember this is the same guy that sent out a picture of himself proudly wearing a Falcons hat to thousands of people.

and then proceeded to tell every Panther fan that had a problem with it to basically f**k off. this same guy

the same guy we had to pay a massive $20 more than what Atlanta offered for him to stay here. yeah that guy

it case you guys haven't figured it out by now this guy is only here because of the money we paid him. he doesn't give two sh*ts about the region, the fans, the organization and now he's bailing on his teammates to go party. yeah lets all make f**king excuses for him and say this is perfectly OK. derp derp derp

 rocknrolla with the overreaction.

johnson hurt his back last week. he's been on the injury report all week and rivera said his back has been stiff all week. there is limited space on the plane and injured/inactive players stay home usually on away games. 95 was inactive because of his back so they made him stay home.

keep up the irrational hate, though. great way to end the year.

Rivera said an extra day between games should help defensive end Charles Johnson who has been limited by a back injury in recent weeks. Johnson missed practice again Thursday but hopes to play Sunday.Because of the back problem, Johnson was used primarily on third down against Tampa Bay last Saturday.
