Panthers schedule actually 17th hardest in 2011

it was #1 based off last year's records. but with the parity in the NFL, it's kind of pointless to ever base anything on a previous year. teams that were good in 2010 sucked this year (bucs twice, colts, bears, etc)

at least we get to play the AFC West next year which is perennially terrible

uhh... that says 14th before they adjust it

either way its right about average

Yeah, I should have noted that. I like the idea of removing your own influence though, and just gravitated to that chart.

Saints have the easiest schedule. Maybe they will come down to earth a little next year. :)

this is a prime example of why you can't base strength of schedule on anything from the previous year. the saints finished second in our division in 2010 which means they had to play the second place team from the NFC West and NFC East. The rams were good in 2010 and sucked this year. where as, the bucs had to play the last place teams of those divisions including the 49ers! haha

You just never know what's going to happen until the games start rolling

i know parity, too early to tell, lot of things can change blah blah blah... but honestly next years schedule looks pretty favorable to me. i think it'll end up being in the bottom half of SoS once everything is said and done.

no reason why we can't manage 9-10 wins so long as we have a good draft/offseason and shore up some of the holes on D

Well, playing TB and Carolina twice a year doesn't help....and yes. I know we lost to TB, and STL...lol.

    • To the last part. Evero sucks at generating pressure unless he’s going up against a beat up OL like the Jets. However.. he does do a good job of having the DL/LBs contain. Hes even mentioned that’s part of the reason that they struggle to rush the QBs because he doesn’t want guys moving out of containment.
    • If there was ever a game to get behind that offensive line and the run the rock with Rico it's this game.   Only one team has been worst than Buffalo at stopping the run this season and that's Miami and we saw what happened in that game with Dowdle. Buffalo of course has one of the most dynamic offenses so the more time we can keep that offense off the field the better sustaining drives will be crucial. Atlanta had their way with Buffalo in their last game that scire could have easily been 28-7 at the half. With that said with an improved vertical passing attack and emphasis on the run game Carolina pulls the upset 24-17
    • This sounds just like a lot of Panthers fan during Bryce's rookie year
