Practically every Steve Smith catch? The over the shoulder one vs Washington with two defenders on him was filthy, so was the TD catch vs Saints were he stiffarmed the guy on the way to the ground then beat the poo outta jenkins lol.

all of them

except the bad ones

and even the bad ones were better than 2010's good ones

this is sadly the truth

although the Mare miss vs. the Vikings was more gut wrenching than any play in recent memory(sans cards playoff game).

that was pretty rough but the hardest moment for me was losing to the lions after posting a ridiculous first half.

I was so used to second half collapses that the Lions loss didn't really affect me too much. The Mare miss was like... oh poo we're done, BAM Cam converts a 4th and very long to LaFell to get into FG range. Continue driving and he misses a fuging chip shot.

Ugh.

Sorry to put a damper on this upbeat thread bros. I'll stop now.

The 30 something yard pass to Smitty in triple coverage against the Redskins was one of my favorite plays. Even though it wasn't a touchdown it was one of the prettiest passes I've ever seen.

Cam to Smitty for 77 + 6 against the Cards. That was the ignition for the Cam era, a new age for all of us panthers fans. I was falling of my couch that moment :hurray:

Besides this one, of course Brockels TD and Naanees throw to Cam.

Gotta go with Cam's 49 yard TD run. The cut-back move broke that one guy's ankles, then he dragged whats his name into the endzone.

But the scramble against the Skins, that was maybe the first time during the season that we really saw Cam's ability as a runner.

That one was my favorite. It was really the first play where we saw what Cam could do with his legs. It was the first of many awesome Newton plays.:cam:

    • I'd hold on to Walker - we have no OT depth at all. Freeling is a block of clay - all the tools are there and he appears to have a great attitude. He needs serious work on his technique to realise his potential though.
    • From my watch last night: They weren't trading out of 19 unless it was a daft offer once Freeling got there. They were clearly antsy to get Hunter - and Minnesota actually called to offer the trade down. They weren't trading out of the third round pick once Brazzell fell to it (and Canales would have been happy with him in the second round). They traded back a lot on Day 3 - even if Morgan 'Babe Ruth'd' it with Lee, Hecht and Wheatley; they clearly weren't the only guys they would have taken at those picks. I'm curious to know which player caused the reaction at the start of day 2 (Dan Morgan): "of course they'd pick him"
    • Watching this confirms that this staff and front office is super high on Monroe Freeling. I wouldn't be surprised if he's gotta a real chance to win the starting LT job in camp. If he does, we can look to flip Rasheed Walker to a contender desperate for tackle help.   As for Ickey I still really like him and wanna extend him but based on how the staff was talking about Freeling it might be time for ickey to start taking some practice sets at guard if he wants to stay here as we are gonna have to have figure out a solution for the contracts of Lewis and Hunt.  My preferred scenario for the Oline in 2027 is Freeling-Ickey-Hech-Lewis-Moton.
