So Right now...Peyton or Eli?

All I'm saying is, compare the 9 playoff game performances. I'm not talking about just the wins and losses. Look at the numbers. Theres not a big gap like everyone assumes. Eli has come though big when it counts.

I'm not talking about the regular season, because I'll NEVER win that debate. I'm talking about the PLAYOFFS.

I'd still rather take the QB that will get me to the playoffs EVERY YEAR WITHOUT EXCEPTION than the one that takes me every other year or so.

I thought we didn't like moral victories around here? Just getting there is ok? We don't have to win?

They have both won the same number of superbowls.

I'd rather make the playoffs every year and only win 1 superbowl then make the playoffs every other year and only win 1 superbowl.

So..basically you'd rather make the playoffs and lose every year than make it every other year. Sounds like either way you're losing. 1 superbowl is 1 superbowl

More of the same. Time will tell, but it looks like little bro is going to win more titles than bring bro. Eli is only 31 and hes playing the best football of his life. Again, the resume is similar (dare I say better) after 9 playoff games. We'll see how it ends.

Do you watch the regular season or only bother tuning in for the playoffs?

Like you said, 1 superbowl is 1 superbowl. If I'm only going to win 1 I'd rather also win as many games as possible.

WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT. SO you ELI homers are saying if healthy Payton was on the Giants right now that they would be playing worse?

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Are you asking a question or do you have a quote to show me?

Eli is really ahead in this pole? Give me a break, he's still no Peyton Manning.

He doesn't have to be.

Neither is Peyton anymore, and may never be again.

Right now, Eli. he may never be his brother, but he's one of the better QBs in the league right now, and he's healthy.

Err.. I remember saying that Peyton is arguably the best regular season QB ever. And one of the best QB of all time. I keep repeating the same thing over and over.

I think its worth repeating. Never did I or will I say that Eli is/was/will be better than Peyton. (If I did find it, show me, and I'll correct myself). I'm merely stating that the notion that Peyton is untouchable compared to Eli simply isn't true, because of his performance in the playoffs.

I really don't care how often he gets in the playoffs, I care what he does when he gets there, and at 31 he has a nice resume, and probably has about 4-5 (more?) really good years left in him.

Nice to see I got a decent discussion going though rather then another 'Chud gets an interview' thread. ;)
