RadioKiller's 3rd Mock Draft

Tbh, South Carolina has a few guys I wouldn't be mad at us drafting. I could be wrong, but Ingram strikes me as similar to Cullen Jenkins...DE on first and second down, moves inside on passing downs, versatile to fit different schemes. And their safety looks to be a sleeper pick, too.

Thanks, who would you target at 17 if we traded down? Perry? Mercilus? Or go a different direction.
sorry i didn't answer this earlier.

first, it's no secret that i would rather go with an interior Dline guy first. brockers and poe are my two favorite prospects.

if they aren't there and we are going to address OLB, i'd just as soon go with an actual replacement for TD in zach brown. he's got the tools and the speed. there's no one i'm particularly thrilled with as a 4-3 DE in the draft, esp. at that point in the draft. if we want to go with a 3-4 pass rush specialist type OLB, i'd rather wait until the 2nd round and maybe get bruce irvin.

ingram just seems like someone you'd have to work to find a role. he doesn't quite fit as a DT, DE, or OLB, imo. at least not at the pro-level. i think he's someone you could plug in at a few places and do well and he's got talent. i just see him as more of a utility player. a jack of all trades but master of none with no defined role.

i would have less trouble with him being picked up in the 2nd round and use that particular pick for a DT or even OL assuming that we go with janoris in that other 1st round spot..
