I think the criticism is unfair. He doesn't need to have been on the field or coaching to know about what he's there to do.nor does being a player necessarily mean that you'll be good at his job. He has the right skills for the job and that's all that matters. he can definitely listen to other people more (I feel sorry for McShay, a lot of times he's just trying to be the better man by not yelling back), but in terms of credentials I think it's unfair.

I love the battles between Todd McShay and Kiper. I think McShay is alright. Kiper is a blubbering Idiot and ESPN every year makes themselves less credible with him on the staff.
