Adam Schefter on Peppers.

Main problem is no team has even tried to push for the 29 year old standout on your bottom 15 ranked defense. Sucks that no one really is chomping at the bit to get him as he is the only guy who knows what a sack is in Carolina.

peppers agent has said..they have gotten ballpark offers..there are plenty of offers out there...

and you are starting to sound stupid..so..shhhhhhhhhhhh

Well hard to get a offer on Julius when the Panthers are in control of his status, not his agent. His agent might be able to check to see whose interested but that means nothing when his agent controls nothing on Julius's status as a Panther.

do you know what you are talking about...peppers wont sign his tender...we dont have that much control untill then

Exactly, so how are you guys getting offers when Peppers tender isn't signed and he can't even be traded. I mean after all, that is what you were just claiming. The Panthers have control, all your agent is going to do is try to get the best deal possible for the Panthers and see who will offer the Panthers the best deal.

Which at this point, isn't valid as mentioned why in this response.

there is nothing preventing carey or pep from going out and trying to get someone interested. he can go out and talk to as many teams as he wants. he is free to find another team. more teams would be interested if pep signed the tender. the pats even told him to do it if he really wanted to go somewhere. the problem that he has is his inability to adjust to the new playing field.

if he wants to play somewhere else then he is going to have to sign the tender and let the grown ups talk. if no team is willing to give up 2 1st rounders then they have to be able to communicate with the panthers about it to work something out. that can't be done unless he signs.

pep is in control of his own destiny...he just has to realize that his path to greener pastures goes through carolina.

Yup, what which was just said is exactly what I was getting at. Peppers has to get under contract before he can be moved. A offer isn't valid until there is a contract backing it.

Wow, where were you a couple months ago when everyone was trying to figure that out?
