Top notch school if your a single guy then this is the school for you 3 girls to every guy...The basketball team is always competitive and fun to watch. Academics one of the best. Brett Favres daughter went to COC and Miley Cyrus was supposed to enroll last semester. The night life is sweet.

fug yes! Ive heard about the girl to guy ratio and it put the biggest smile on my face lol. I was accepted today but i'm pulling between college of charleston and the university of south carolina.

College of charleston was more of my choice, to be honest. The university of south carolina has just been in my ear alot. Alot of friends keep trying to persuade me to transfer there.

Oh, and since money talks, you SHOULD get your masters in communications.

But in all seriousness, I'd take like a f*cking theatre or film studies major over communications.

I'll look into it. I have plenty of time to really decide my major, the communications idea came from an english teacher i'm fond of.

Delhommey, Hotsauce, and I all graduated there over the course of the last 15 or so years...Hotsauce being the most recent. We all loved it, have differing careers, and are all doing pretty well for ourselves.

Thats great to hear! Hopefully i can say the same in the future!

I graduated from CofC with a degree in Communications (that's right fugers). I have been able to find jobs very easily with it. You take half the classes that a business major takes, so I thought of that major being well rounded. I was able to take alot of real world classes.

USC is an ok school. The only nod USC gets over cofc is they have football. However, Columbia really sucks, the campus is pretty shitty as well. Cofc has a really good basketball program, and if you want to see football, columbia is only 1.5 hrs away. Charleston is a awesome town, with so much to do, like the beach, etc.... Did I mention cofc has the best women in any college on the east coast(if you are into that sort if thing)?

Best of luck on your choice. I will say it has gotten really hard to get into the cofc now so consider yourself lucky....

If thats my sort of thing. Ha! That's what im all about :D . Thanks for the response. Really helpful info. I keep hearin about these charleston women man.. goodness. I have to witness it.

      I think you have to factor in that we're still not an attractive proposition for Head Coaches. You're not getting the cream of the crop if you fire Canales a year after winning the NFC South, especially considering the situation he walked into.

      Honestly, I dont  think he should be on the hot seat yet. A bad start to next year, then yes. Despite our mistakes on play calling this past season, we played better than anticipated overall. Bryce showed improvement and maturity (although still not nowhere close to our expectations). Better record and 2-15 to 5-12 to 8-9. Despite what we feel the stats dont lie we are improving by 3 wins a year. Could 11-6 be our expectation. That's a high bar but at the rate we are going, thats what its looking like. We all want to see a 5-12 to a 13-4 record but we are methodically moving up. Success doesnt happen overnight (well in most cases).  IMO we are struggling mostly on the defensive end. LB and edge are our biggest weakness. I see Bryce making improvements (even though I was a Bryce hater) next year. Biggest concern is LT on offense. How to fix this? We need a big name edge or to trade up and get a big name edge or LB and pick up one in FA and draft one. Also if in the 3rd we can pick up a TE. Dont know if Sanders is the answer or Tremble (even though I love Trembles blocking and power after the catch). If these two can get their footwork together they would be great. Maybe all they need is a better TE coach. And if Brooks can stay healthy and be the back we thought he could be, man that would be great
