Valentines day suggestion thread

Valentines day is a made up "holiday" to boost 1st quarter retail numbers. It's a load of poo.

Like I tell my wife, why do I need a set day to show her I love her? She gets flowers personally delivered to her on random days. We have date nights when we have babysitters. An occasional card when the mood strikes me. Etc.

If anything I probably do less on valentines day than any other day of the year just to prove my point.

And yes, she knew I didn't recognize VDay as anything at all before we got married.

Valentine's day is his birthday so he gets a birthday gift but we don't normally buy gifts for Vday. You shouldn't need a special day to show someone you love them, that should happen every day. Flowers are a waste of money IMO, I want something that will last. In fact I'd appreciate more if he hired a someone to come & do some repairs or did the landscaping I've been wanting done. I could think of 100 other things I'd want other than the traditional vday garbage.

      I didn't move the goal posts. But anyone who follows football who wants to engage in a rational discussion can't argue that 10 7th round picks are equal to 10 1st rounders in value. The argument has always been we haven't spent as much on defense has we have on offense. Draft picks have value just like salary. We have not spent the same amount of draft pick salary cap on defense that we have on offense since drafting Bryce. It's not even close. Just the 2 1sts we used on Bryce, 2 overall 1sts have a value of 6000. That doesn’t even factor in DJ Moore or the 2 2nds. Bryce cost more than everything we've spent on defense in 6 damn years.

      Woukd be a great addition You know the issues from my prespective, 2 things the Panthers must do 1. Edge or pass rushers or 2 oline or 3 oline or as Andy Reid says, when in doubt, draft a lineman it is time   That oline is troubling plus a small person at QB  they   1. Can do a lot better than mayes at center, 2. and lewis has had injuries all season. 3. Moton should not have  been resigned long term, 4. corbett is a shadow and will probably be released  5 and Christianson coming off Achilles   6 and the kicker, would be Ickey’s contract if they decide to keep him INMO rookie and contracts will be needed to offset all that
