Gross for some time has come across as someone not sold on Otah......Bell was clearly in over his head last season

Beason said we needed a DT as well when he was on the drive a month or so ago. The hosts threw Capt Munnerlyn under the bus but Beason stuck to his guns, said the DBs are fine.

Almost every mock has us taking Brockers as well. I doubt it's a smokescreen. I think we need more pass rushers.

He didn't say DB's were fine but he did want a DT.

He also was talking up Mo Claiborne during the Bronco N awards.

The fact is every player plays hurt on a football team. Otah refuses to play unless he is not hurt.

IMO it all depends on what we do in FA. If we pick up a CB then DT all the way but if not CB is our biggest need.

Michael Brockers in the first and Chandler Jones in the second is a DAMN good draft to me. A dominant D line would make everybody better.

I really think unless Blackmon or Claiborne somehow falls to us, we're going DT all the way in the first round.

Not about lying or the truth....Gross just has no faith in Otah and has expressed it several times. Gross is the only to of done that publically. Doesn't sound like Gross had much faith in our DTs either. Didn't have much in Cam until proven otherwise either.

Plus, we drafted Otah knowing the kid is a beast.....a beast who doesn't like to play banged up. That was known pre-draft. One of really 2 knocks on him (the other being a bit raw).

We knew what we were buying. We got exactly that.
