There Are Only 3 Kinds of People in Your Life

There are 3 kinds of people in your life!

Those who leave you alone!

Those who help you!

Those who hurt you!

Those who leave you alone see dealing with your suffering as a nuisance or inconvenience, and prefer to keep their distance in order to feel better themselves. Those who help you have the strength and the awareness to do more with your suffering than you are able to deal with yourself. Those who hurt you want the situation to stay the same because they do not have your well being at heart.

Asses people solely how they relate to your difficulties and count how many you have in your life, this is not the same as counting friends and family members. I will no longer bring my issues to someone who ignores me, b/c its not good for them or for me. They do not want to help so I will not ask them to. I will share my problems with those who want to help me, I will not reject offers of genuine assistance due to pride, insecurity or doubt. I will ask these people to join me in my HEALING (not a negative enabler), and become a bigger part of my life I will put a distance between those who want to hurt me, I will not confront them, and I will not let them be the cause of my self pity or guilt trip them but I cannot afford their toxic effect on me and if that means keeping my distance I will.

Gonna get flamed for this post probably, but I kept reading "me," "my," and "I" over and over again in the OP. Gotta ask this Clarie chick exactly what kind of person she is. Seems only concerned with what others can do for her and not what she can do herself.

Just my worthless .02 cents here. Take it for whatever you please.

I might be more appreciative of this post if I had some idea of exactly how how one "asses" people

(to my credit, I know better than to ask for explanations from this crowd) :skep:

The thing that really gets me about this thread is that there were two people on here who knew who Claire was.

I have never heard of her, honestly. I have, however, been privy to enough KK posts to know that he didn't come up with what he posted. So I copied and pasted it into google. Voila! Word for word.

    • No, you're right. It doesn't mean you can't call out his flaws and poor play. But it also doesn't mean you can't admit when he plays well and shows improvement. Not you personally, just in general I mean.
    • I will say, I do think there's a version of Bryce that could be really successful as a high-volume passer in a spread-based offense built around quick throws and timing-based intermediate throws with deeper throws schemed up around them. I actually think the power run based offense we're running is a poor fit for Bryce as it requires him to play under center far more often. It's a very traditional offensive approach whereas I think a scheme that spreads defenses out and lets Bryce distribute the ball quickly with anticipation and accuracy is the sweet spot for him. The key, of course, is to find a way to run the ball efficiently out of those formations. Our personnel right now (backs and OL) aren't good fits for that style of offense and I'm not sure it's a scheme Dave Canales favors very much either.
    • I root for him, and I hope for the best, as does essentially everyone. But that doesn’t mean you can’t call out flaws and bad plays. And that’s what a lot of people get wrong.  I hope I’m wrong and that he continues to improve a lot, I just doubt it. But I’ve been wrong before
