Sometimes I get a giant H&R block ad on my phone when I view this site. Effin zod and his greedy money grubbing self.

Adwords pays about $3.50 for every 1,000 impressions, but I've heard it is less for sports sites because of the huge amount of repeat traffic. I think there is a bump for clicks, but 25 cents or less generally.

.25 cents would be quite high. Most clicks are worth a few cents at the most.

Getting paid for impressions is nice though. People with YouTube videos that get millions of views are making a decent chunk of money though for the content they've put up.

Zod probably gets paid for impressions, not clicks. So you made him more money by making a thread and having people click on it than clicking an ad.

This site is run by WCNC anyway though, so I'm sure they'd be the entity getting the money and not Zod.
