ZackAttack23's 7 Round NFL Mock Draft

Afterthought: If Cleveland does not bring in Flynn, Campbell, or Orton, then a possible draft-day trade, should Miami pass on Tannehill (I think they take Tannehill if they get snubbed by Manning), would be to take the Browns' second rounder to move up to take Tannehill. Although I think the Browns will take Blackmon and not Richardson, I see them making the trade for a QB with us because Tannehill could/would be attractive to Buffalo (unlikely), KC, Seattle, and possibly Arizona--the 4 teams picking after the Panthers.

DT is deep in this draft--take a DT at 22 and add a second rounder.

Cleveland would gladly part with a second rounder to move up into the top 10 to take a QB. They offered 2 first round picks to move up two spots for RGIII. Holmgren did not (initally) want to lose the second first rounder, so this way, he gives his offense some weapons with 2 picks in in the first 9 of the first round.

I'm cool with our picks but I'd be quite surprised if Bruce Irvin falls to the 4th round. After his combine several experts predict him late first or early second. Not saying it can't happen but I'd be disappointed as a wvu fan.

Where do you play him though? He's basically a pass rush specialist in a 3-4. He has no experience playing LB in a 4-3 and he's not big enough to play as a DE.

So the only way he goes in the first two rounds is if a team thinks he's a dynamic pass rusher.

Yeah I think he definitely projects as an OLB in a 3-4 and his specialty would most definitely be rushing the passer. He played safety before being moved to DE which happened before coming to wvu so he should have at least decent coverage skills but I can't say for sure since I've not really seen him in coverage much. My thinking is some team who runs a 3-4 and needs a pass rusher will pull the trigger in the 2nd. I read an article on packers.com after the combine and their thinking was that if they wanted him they'd either have to take him with their 1st or trade up from their 2nd because they didn't think he'd last to the end of the 2nd where they pick.
