Bogut, JAX to Golden State for Kwame, Monte?

this trade really doesn't make sense for either side in my opinion

First while Bogut is incredibly talented, he is very injury prone. I feel like the Warriors could have gotten more for Ellis if he had been traded to a different team.

Second this trade makes absolutely no sense for the Bucks. Not only are you giving up on your franchise center, but Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis as a backcourt might create two black holes of offense so large the entire city of Milwaukee will be consumed.

I was coming here to post this exact thing.... Makes no sense at all for either side... Mil must be about to move Jennings for some reason or this is apart of some bigger picture... plus GSW loses their expiring contract??? I don't get it.

I will be sure to watch the first train wreck of a Mil game.... those two will be fighting over the ball

    • If Phillips and Lloyd stay healthy, this is now a top ten(8?) defensive.  I can not see how Dan did this with Phillips........ must be , I hate to wonder.
    • Panthers add another big piece in LB Devin Lloyd  Top 150 ranking: 3 Reported deal: 3 years, $45 million Grade: A Lloyd comes in pretty far under our projection of $19 million per year. He is tied for the fourth-highest-paid off-ball linebacker in the league, according to Over the Cap. He played like one of the best off-ball linebackers in football in 2025, and he will still only be 27 when the 2026 season begins. Lloyd is an explosive playmaker with a well-rounded skill set for the position. He is excellent in coverage. He is physical in run defense. He can blitz. He can run sideline to sideline. He had the production last season with 28 pressures and five interceptions. This had all the makings of a deal closer to the top of the market, which is held by the 49ers’ Fred Warner at $21 million APY. Lloyd slots in well below that number. This is a great deal for the Panthers. — Popper The Athletic https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7093735/2026/03/09/nfl-free-agency-grades-2026/
