Panthers interested in Safety Steve Gregory

Recommended Posts

most are better than Godfrey as well.

or are you one of those guys who blames Lucas, then Marshall, and then have a new reason why he is consistantly such a horrible tackler in the open field. Yeah, he has potential....and if he gets to the reciever before he becomes a runner fumbles have occured but he is still one of the weakest S in the NFL if based off play (instead of potential)

Yea no reason to blame two guys who set the NFL on fire after they left. :rolleyes5:

Gregory isn't bad per'se, but we can't expect to field an elite team next season with these kind of signings.

This team is going to have to come out of it's shell. We're terrified of Free agency and I don't think we even remember why. I think we just forsake FA because it's like, our creed or something.

just coincidence that others make Godfrey look bad...

also, Lucas was great early that year. Some argue it was opponents realizing Godfrey had no clue to how to help his CBs in coverage that caused QBs to target those window.

also, CBs play out the window. They have nothing to do with the fact Godfrey couldn't take Jerry Richardson running in the open field.

if only you all were head coaches in the NFL...

Up to this point, we have more needs now than we entered FA with, the team is giving the impression it has no desire to make any commitment to truely fulfilling them, and we only have two high picks.

Concern is justified.

How far are we into free agency again? 23 hours?

Man... you guys are harsh.

    • You do, the guy who doesn’t appear to grasp projection.  as the entire board knows, I do in fact, take positions.  The position here I have taken is that Bryce Young is a weak bottom tier starting QB, without NFL starting QB tools, that we must move on from.
    • The OP for one. Asserting that people blamed Bryce for the loss in the title of the thread. That was not the prevailing sentiment at the time this thread was created. Very much a minority thing, I don’t remember but maybe one person if that, putting it on Bryce as the main reason. Troll thread. Did a good job too. Look at the pages.  Someone counting up the draft picks as 10 on offense and 10 on defense or whatever the number was, today or yesterday - of which the offensive ones were heavily 1s and 2s and the defensive picks were heavily day 3 and declaring that proof that the offense wasn’t favored like people claim. The obvious neglect we watched for two years. I spent time refuting that bullshit because someone needed to.  People saying we are bad horrible people and hate poor lil Bryce for no reason, as if it is a personal thing. Constantly.   Along the same lines is people saying we non Bryce fans would rather lose than have him play well and the team wins. That we are mad when the team wins   Point illustrated.
