Janoris Jenkins "fired By Agent"

Recommended Posts

I am speaking strictly from a maturity standpoint, think about it if you know your likely to be a top draft pick and make millions why wouldn't you wrap it up? He is going to be paying $$$$ in child support.

That said at 40 I think he is worth the chance, the talent is there if he can grow up. I just don't want him at 9.

if anything he will wrap it up because he doesnt want to pay for more than 4 kids, hell put in his contract to get that thing snipped,j/k. but serious him at 40 is a no brainer. i would pull the trigger all day.

Forgive my ignorance, I've seen a few highlights of him when he was at Florida, but is this kid really as great as everyone is making him out to be?

Yes. He is arguably the best cover corner in the draft. The reason he isn't getting attention is because of his off the field issues.

This thread seals it: he will be a Cowboy!

Clearly didn't read the article I posted from NFL.com. There are always two sides to a story.

fresh: I did read it...he will be a Cowboy.

Or did you mean that posting an article about what a guy will do will make him a top 10 pick.

It irks me when guys harped on Newton about a laptop...then accepting "payments" both of those are forgivable IMO, not character flaws that couldnt be overcome by maturity. I never saw these as traits he would carry over into the NFL: he gets paid..solved...can buy laptops...solved...

Failing multiple drug tests, having babies he cannot possibly support...all effect himself and others around him. Sure one can change but as in Behavioral interviews..one's past is a great predictor of one's future.

Drugs and Women are hard to overcome..look at baseball's Josh "black Tar " Hamalton! He regresses every offseason now..
