For The People That Think Claiborne Will Fall To Us At #9

If Cleveland chooses Tannehill, Tampa will have a tough choice between Richardson or Clairborne. If they choose RB, then he could slip BUT Jacksonville and Miami would love to trade down and I am sure there will be teams below us that will give up their 2nd rounder to move to #7 or #8 & snag him.

I give it about a 10% chance he falls to us at 9.

What might be almost as good would be Richardson to fall to us at 9 and KC at 11 gives up their 3rd to us to get him or Cincy at 17 gives up their 2nd to us to get him. I would love to trade down.

Just like Gallagher pointed out, it's possible.

It doesn't necessarily has to be 8 offensive players though. Some teams may value DE's higher than DB's, therefore passing on Claiborne for Coples or Ingram, which is the key.

What I don't get is the excitement for trading down. Especially if there's a talent level drop off.

i.e. All the folks that wanted us to draft PP7 or Dareus last year, and pick up Ponder or Mallet in the 2nd.

Whatever i want Floyd

Floyd or Blackmon, one of those two guys will be available...gimme one of those, DT will take care of itself with the returning players or Poe. There are too many possibilities to fall in love with any one player at 9. It is a top 10 pick guys. Rivera won't let Hurney go off on some AEdwards tangent.
