Yes, I, Jase, the one who has always preached at people who go on some fad workout system, have started p90x. Partially for me, partially for the wife who wants to lose the baby weight.

Knowing what I know about 90% of people who try a fad exercise like this, it's likely that I'll quit within the first month.

So if you correctly guess the week I quit, you win something special from me to you.

PS: I could barely type this. I am that sore.

PPS The p90x workout guy is a complete psycho

don't know anything about you or your willpower but i'm going to say 5 weeks. most people say it gets much easier after a week or two.

imo, if you make it an entire month you should go ahead and finish it.

I LOVE TONY HORTON!!!!!!

He helped me get the results I always wanted.

Also how is p90x a fad workout? It's a 90 day workout to get your body in great shape. I don't get whats so wrong about that. Burning calories and building muscle. What's the prob?

I did P90X hardcore for 6 months and I still use the work outs about 3-4 time a week. Plyo is tough, also don't get discouraged if you can't do pull ups at first, they will come. I don't think my husband could do one but now he can knock out at least 12. I couldn't do one pull up, chin up or anything. Eventually I was able to do 5-7. So it will come.

The way he growls and crosses his arms to make an X makes him seem a little crazy.

I was not prepared for the aerobic aspect of this program. I am used to lifting weights, but not this fast-paced mix of so many exercises. I have to say it is working, though.

But I have this strange urge to challenge my co-workers to arm wrestle right now.

Holy crap!

The P90x jumpstarted Jase's ballz.

Lookout wifey, he might just make a play.

Honestly, good for you doing the workout and supporting her.

It is a fad exercise program, but whatever, if it gets you moving and eating less, it is all good.

I say week 4.

The P90X workout actually came out around 2003 and people are still doing it :) so I'm not sure you can call it a fad.

However I agree with you that it's sweet he is doing it to help his wife. Plus I'm sure Mrs. Jase will enjoy his results. Nothing like a guy with muscles.

well, it's not really a "fad." then again, i've only heard of fad diets; not fad work outs. p90x, as you probably know by now, are for those whom are already physically fit and wish to push it to the next level/maintain.

good luck getting through it. and btw, the plyo isn't that bad [you actually feel really, really good about yourself afterward].

mark it: what will kill you is the yoga.

    • I would write “give remmers tight end help” on a yellow sticky note and stuck it in shulas playbook the night before superbowl 50.
    • And don’t worry about Bryce he will be great… Peyton Manning had a horrible rookie year too 😂
    • Nothing wrong with it at all until you start telling others they are bad fans or not fans. But you are the good fan because you never say negative stuff about the team.    I did many years of that type of uninformed fanning because there really was no info and coverage like there is with the internet.    I mean, I used to go to the store and get Street and Smith’s annual football issue. That was about the extent of what you could get if you didn’t live in a big city with sportswriters covering and reporting.  There was no video to look at or replay the games and if you didn’t live in the market you could only rarely see your football team play.    TI have fanned since being a kid in the early 1960s, and as late as 1995 - ‘97 I lived in Atlanta and good luck getting more than 3 or 4 games a year on TV. No radio either. No print coverage outside of an AP recap and box unless they played Atlanta.  People today that have always had the network connection don’t know.    I wasn’t very educated about the Panthers until I finally got internet.
